Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using tlgrm (“the Service”). By creating an account or accessing the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and tlgrm (“we”, “us”, “our”). Your continued use of the Service following any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide at least 14 days’ advance notice for material changes (see Section 15).

2. Description of the Service

tlgrm is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that allows subscribers to aggregate, read, search, and organise content from Telegram channels and groups they have access to. The Service may include:

  • A unified feed of posts from multiple Telegram channels and groups.
  • AI-powered summarisation and tagging of channel content.
  • Search, filtering, and notification features.
  • Team collaboration and shared workspace functionality (plan-dependent).
  • An audit log and data-export facility.

Features are subject to change. We will notify you of material changes to the Service in accordance with Section 15.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

4. Your Account

  • Credentials: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Use a strong, unique password and enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) where available.
  • Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date.
  • Unauthorised use: You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
  • Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required to do so by law.

5. Subscription and Billing

  • Plans: The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Available plans, pricing, and included features are described on the pricing page at tlgrm.mystackmint.com.
  • Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, depending on the plan selected. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • Non-refundable: Fees paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or as otherwise stated in our refund policy. Unused portions of a billing period are not refunded on cancellation.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription prices on 14 days’ written notice. Your continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
  • Taxes: Stated prices exclude VAT, GST, or other applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required by law.

6. Data Protection and Compliance

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • GDPR / UK GDPR: Where you are located in the EU or UK, we act as the data controller in respect of your account data. Processing is carried out on lawful bases including contract performance, legitimate interests, and (where applicable) your consent.
  • HIPAA: tlgrm is not a HIPAA-covered entity by default. If you intend to use the Service in connection with protected health information (PHI), contact us to execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before doing so.
  • Software limitations: As described in our Disclaimer, no software is perfect. We apply industry-standard security controls but cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • Third-party sub-processors: We use vetted third-party sub-processors (cloud infrastructure, payment processor, analytics). A current list is available on request at [email protected].
  • Regulatory changes: Data-protection law evolves. We monitor regulatory developments and update our practices accordingly. Material changes will be communicated pursuant to Section 15.

7. Audit Logging and Transparency

tlgrm maintains an immutable audit trail of all significant data-access and data-modification events within your account. This audit log:

  • Records the actor, action type, affected resource, timestamp, and IP address.
  • Is retained for six to seven years to satisfy legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Records metadata about actions only; it does not store the full content of Telegram messages.
  • Can be accessed by account owners and administrators via Settings → Security → Audit Log, and can be exported in JSON format.
  • Can be provided to you upon a Subject Access Request (GDPR Art. 15) or equivalent data subject rights request.

8. User Rights

Where applicable law grants you rights in respect of your personal data, we will honour those rights. These include:

  • Access (GDPR Art. 15): Obtain a copy of your personal data and information about how it is processed.
  • Rectification (GDPR Art. 16): Have inaccurate personal data corrected.
  • Erasure (GDPR Art. 17): Request deletion of your personal data where the legal basis for retention no longer applies.
  • Portability (GDPR Art. 20): Receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent (GDPR Art. 7(3)): Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time via Settings → Privacy → Consent Management.
  • Object (GDPR Art. 21): Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Complaint: Lodge a complaint with your national Data Protection Authority. See our Disclaimer for regulatory contacts.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

9. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may close your account at any time via Settings → Account → Close Account or by emailing [email protected].

  • 30-day deletion: Following account closure, your personal data (profile, feed preferences, connected Telegram sessions) will be permanently deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
  • Legal exceptions: Billing records are retained for seven years as required by tax and accounting law. Audit log entries are retained for six to seven years for compliance purposes. Retained data is held securely, isolated from active processing, and used only to meet legal obligations.
  • After deletion of your account, residual data in encrypted backups will be purged within 90 days as backups are rotated.

10. Intellectual Property

  • Our IP: The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by tlgrm and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our IP other than a limited, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
  • Your content: You retain all rights to content you create or upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.
  • Telegram content: Content from Telegram channels is owned by its respective authors. tlgrm displays this content via the Telegram API in accordance with Telegram’s Terms of Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use of aggregated channel content complies with applicable copyright law.
  • Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose without obligation to you.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
  • Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service beyond your own account data or as expressly permitted by these Terms.
  • Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful code; conduct denial-of-service attacks; or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system.
  • Use the Service to process data in a manner that violates GDPR, HIPAA, or other applicable data-protection law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Use the Service to aggregate or republish Telegram content in violation of Telegram’s Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable-use requirements immediately and without prior notice where necessary to protect the Service or other users.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • 12-month cap: Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under or in connection with these Terms or the Service (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100 / €100 / $100 USD (whichever currency is applicable to your subscription).
  • Excluded damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • GDPR / HIPAA statutory obligations not excluded: Nothing in this Section limits our liability for breaches of mandatory data-protection law (including GDPR and applicable HIPAA obligations) where such liability cannot be excluded or limited by law.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of content aggregated from Telegram. AI-generated summaries and tags are provided for convenience and may contain errors; they should not be relied upon as legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Your Jurisdiction], except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

If you are located in the EU, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes — changes that substantially affect your rights or obligations — we will provide at least 14 days’ advance notice by email and/or a prominent in-app banner before the changes take effect.

For non-material changes (e.g., typographical corrections, clarifications that do not affect your rights), we may update these Terms without prior notice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the date of the most recent revision.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and close your account before the effective date. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
